uRSS 2.3.0 for iOS

uRSS 2.3.0 for iOS is out now on the App Store. The headline feature of this release is that it’s free. No more hiding features behind a paywall or a lifetime subscription, uRSS is free forever.

I put a lot of work in to this app and am immensely proud of it, but I had to face the realities of the enviroment. There are a great number of RSS/Podcast apps for iOS/Mac, and many of the good ones are free.

I still think uRSS has a great value add in features I’ve not seen on other RSS apps - namely, Smart Favorites, ML Auto Tagging and Muted Words - features that allow you to organize and cut thru your reading in record time. But the market being what it is, I felt it was more important to get uRSS in the hands of as many people as possible.

There have been a number of performance updates to the app as well, and you’ll find the app is quite speedy on older hardware as well.
